The APA is issuing a call for papers on the topic of courtroom testimony. We are now accepting original manuscripts, which will be compiled into a special edition of Polygraph scheduled for late 2010 or early 2011. The goal is to help examiners who may be called to lay a foundation, testify on polygraph evidence or confessions, give depositions, or to conduct polygraph testing for the courts. All papers should be sent electronically to Editor@polygraph.org, or mailed to PO Box 10411, Ft. Jackson, SC 29207. For those papers accepted for publication, the principal author will receive 10 courtesy copies of the edition in which his or her article appears. What's in it for you? Publication of an article looks good on your CV, you'll receive the eternal gratitude from examiners who were helped by your advice, it can be used to favorably separate you from the rest of your peers come promotion time or when competing for contracts, and most importantly, it is one of the requirements for acceptance into the exclusive Polygraph Country Club.
